Hey Scott.
Has anyone asked the State if the Lowell State Game area could be opened up for MTB riding?
I ride the trail once or twice a month and see no one hiking. There is quite a bit of land that could be developed into a great trail even if we retained the North Country portion as hiking only.
Just a thought.
I'm not sure what's going on with Lowell. You might try contacting Nate Phelps at the western chapter of the MMBA.
